The vitality
of art
The archive series documents some of Martin Gautsch's sold works of art. During the creative process, Gautsch develops a close bond with his sculptures. After completion, Gautsch lets the sculptures go so that they can find new places and owners and expand their sphere of influence. In doing so, he creates space for something new.
With each new creative period, he satisfies his curiosity and feels gratitude that his artworks can continue to have an impact in so many different places - from Austria, Germany and Switzerland to Libya and the USA.
The passionate process up to the joyful confirmation
Gautsch describes his artistic work as a living process in which everything is possible and no boundaries exist. This creative flow opens up an inner dimension that never ceases to amaze him. He is hungry for new things and is guided by his intuition. In this devotion, he finds much creative power and experiences a profound stillness in his being.
When his works bring joy to other people or act as useful companions in life, it is a pleasant confirmation of his artistic work.
