I am more than who I am
The artworks in this series serve as
guide to inner development
The “I am more than who I am” series invites you to question your own “I” and explore the deep reality of life. Created in 2024 and 2025, the artworks were produced using a welding technique specially developed by Martin Gautsch.
Each artwork illuminates important aspects of our lives and encourages reflection. The sculptures in this series draw attention to the choices open to us in various areas of life. They offer the viewer insights that are useful for a fulfilled life and promote clarity about oneself.

Experience yourself anew
Do we take responsibility for our own existence or do we allow ourselves to be guided by external influences and lose sight of our freedom of choice as a result? Everyone fulfills different roles - in their relationship with themselves, in the family, at work or in the community. These roles are facets of our identity, but do not define our entire being. Gautsch sees in the human not only the material, but also the spiritual part - I am more than who I am.
The sculptures in this series can help us to be mindful creators of our lives. They invite us to embark on an inner journey and discover the power of self-reflection.
